When will the company release a material that can be loaded to a flat surface , in vertical position, and reflects objects like face, vest, Can of Pepsi without effecting the size of these objects and with smooth and clear vision similar to the water surface, I think the water surface feature ( Horizontal dimension only ) can be modified to another feature that allows the placement of mirrors in vertical dimension , the reflect feature by itself does not reflect an object clearly on plane surfaces. A tutorial will be helpful if it does so.

HI!

You actually have this possibility, the control is actually 2 fold. You have a reflection that will do what you ask about. You can also use refraction + Reflection and transparency to create VERY complex reflection functionality.

All controls is on your right side, but you have to pan down a bit to see the controls. Good luck

The controls are there but the functionality is incorrect and low-quality.  The reflected objects appear too large and show pixelated.

Actually, I just played a bit with it and noticed that close up the size of the reflection is about right, but when you zoom out the size does not change, giving the impression of a larger reflection.  I'm attaching two images to show the effect.

First close-up:

Now I zoom out:

You will notice that reflective image does not change size, although it should.  Also the quality is not great.  BTW, this seems independent of the size of the texture settings.

Yes in deed, I am experimenting with this right now!

I have found for me that camera angle and the distance between

the object and the mirror and the camera is important for the result.

What I also found so far is that the color of the mirror is essential I have

tested mostly BLACK so far.

I will be back!

Same problem here, hope they update the software or add a Mirror materiel, or add some modification to the water parameters and call it the Mirror surface material in addition to the controllers of reflection and refraction.
