Hello everyone Smile

I bought some stock 3D models in Poser format. After downloading, I got few folders: geometries, libraries, projects and textures. Geometric file is in OBJ format. After importing obj file into 3DXchange5, the model is grey with no textures. When set texture from included texture folder, the model was completely coverd with this texture. This is bad, because this model is sofa which has some soft elements and some wooden parts.

Another example. The package also include aa armoire whith doors and drawers. Drawers have different texture for front and knobs. In 3DXchange5 iIcan only change the texture of front drawer but I cannot change the texture of knobs. Besides, I set drawers and doors as a sub prop of armoire but after importing into iClone I cannot open and close drawers and dors

Does anyone can help ? Unsure
Thanks

I'm wondering why 3DXchange won't import the associated .mtl file to the obj one by default.

Get DAZ studio which is free if you do not have it already and add the Poseer runtime to its content library and export it as an obj from DAZ.

Hi Wendy,

The export of DAZ files to an obj file in 3DXchange, ends up making an iProp in iClone6. Is there something else I should be doing?

Thanks

Matthew
