I went back to vote again last night but the box that said 'vote' when I watched it the first time had a check-mark in it and wouldn't let me vote a second time? anything I need to do to get some more votes in?

I watched the other 'Hide and Seek' vids as well and yours is clearly superior to the others. You deserve more votes my friend.

I've also watched a few more.  I'll continue voting for yours.

Without naming names, I saw one "puppet" video that was not too bad.

I also saw a different "puppet" video that, well, I can't say much without sounding cruel.

Having been a participant in various video projects, I've tried to learn to be nicer and supportive of people at all skills levels, and appreciate their entries for what they are.  But especially when you don't know the people, it can be hard to be supportive.

One live-action one caught my attention because the acting was actually pretty good, but the video and production quality was very poor.

I just now tried it and I was able to vote for the 2nd time. There must have been a glitch and they just recently got it fixed.

Looking at the other videos objectively is hard when I have an entry in the contest but I agree, some of them are not bad. There is definitely no guarantee that we will win, but we are hoping.

I was able to vote again yesterday and today, I hope...

The message is not very clear. It says: "You can vote again in 24 hours", but not if your vote was successful (I think). I believe I was though, because when I tried again nothing happened. It should say: "You already voted. You can vote again in 23 hours 52 minutes 21 seconds".
