I've committed a murder! Well, I didn't commit it, but I did animate it. An agent of a not so nice organization is sent to acquire a powerful relic. His no-nonsense approach to his assignment insures there is no witness to tell the tale. Obviously it needs a dramatic musical score but no music as of yet. I have my ears open for it tho. Oh, and I did the voices so they are just place holding until I can get better ones. This is the opening scene to my latest WIP. pete I edited the title to be more friendly. "First Murder" was understandably not appropriate.

Great stuff! I like the animation on the main character especially. It reminds me of vampire hunter D with his hat and always having his head down. Maybe throw in some musical score for the shop like some European/world type subtle music. incompetech.com has some great ones for this genre. http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?genre=WorldLooking forward to the film!

Well done Pete. Can't wait to view it with a background score. With the dealer gone maybe Nelson could grab a few carpets for his cabin.

Quite dramatic ! Nice. You could use some sound effect like the knife slicing through the air. And the fall ofcourse.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The scene isn't 100% yet and will be enhanced by release time. Your suggestions will be incorporated into the process and will help strengthen the scene. I flat out stole the hat from Cad Bane, I wish I could say I thought of it but actually I just liked it. (I'm considering having Ari acquire it from this guy at some point. ) pete

Well, I think I finished my first murder scene and I thought you might be interested in the changes from the first run I made at it. I added a music score from Kevin McLeod at incomptech.com. It was interesting to me that the only custom work I had to do to the musical score was lengthen it on both ends and add some dramatic drum on the downbeats. The slidey break things were close enough to the action naturally so only a minor video tweak here or there got them right where they were supposed to be. So anyway...Please view in 1080p and...Hope you like it. pete

The music had the Indian instruments and flavour ! But how about switching the music when the guest started speaking up ? The music had the joyful mood but the character kinda looked real threatening. So a highly strained music would have given an interesting touch. Just a thought.
