| | After seeing some of the excellent content already uploaded i decided to get down to the nitty gritty and use max7 with R7 plugin annd iclone 2 to create avatars for my own use and hopefully contribute by uploading for others to share.Then i hit a problem,i found i was only able to export a full avatar from max to iclone but not interchangeable body parts.I've been using the iclone max full male template unmodified as a trial so that i did not introduce any errors by me but no joy.The character and accessory icons in iclone are ok but the rest relating to body parts are blank.The template in max looks ok with all relevant control points in place.Have re-installed plugin,gone cross eyed reading the tutes and white papers and feel a bit deflated at at such an early failure.What am i missing.Any suggestions please,thanks in advance,Plectrum. |

| | Hi, There are a few ways to get the individual body parts. You can just export from Max to the Upper, Lower, Shoes folders directly. Alternatively you can just copy the exported full figure .VNS from the Character folder to the Upper, Lower, Shoes folder manually. Even easier is to open the full character in iClone and then use the Add button to place the individual body parts in their own sections.

| | Hi,i would like to add this as an update to a problem i had with exporting a fully interchangeable avatar from max to iclone.I had initialy downloaded several different versions of the iclone max template,some of which worked to varying degrees.I finaly tried one which was named 'Iclone Max template' that included two folders named 'New male template' and 'New Female template' .These folders also included jpg's of teeth,teeth mask, eyes ect.These worked perfectly.I probably should have realised this but i have mentioned the above anyway in case anyone else gets confused as i did.Plectrum. |
