I've just had an email telling me that my broadsky system is a rip off because, they say, "
It don't work"
in iClone. They omitted which version. However, it SHOULD work in ANY version.
The Broadsky systems I give away are free as seen below...
and hence leaves me perplexed as to its ability to "rip off" anyone financially.
But wait a second.....
Someone is really hacked off because something as BASIC as The Very High Resolution BroadSky system DOESNT WORK and it SHOULD in ANY version of iClone because of its very nature of creation.
Now there IS cause for concern.
Why would Reallusion take something as simple as the most basic primitive in the IClone standard issue arsenal and make it "Version Specific" when all it is is a flat 2D plane with a graphic on it???
My understanding thereafter is that anyone who issues graphic props in this fashion has to go through all the miseries of upgrading it AND supplying people with DIFFERENT versions of it for iClone v5.5 , v.5.0, v.4.5, v.4.0, v.3 etc etc on and on.
Doesn't make sense.
If anyone wants these Broadskies you can have the graphics for nothing and map them to any version of the primitive basic plane yourself. Its no skin off my nose to find that they are now version specific.
If the issue foxes you as well.............. join the clan.
