Just curious. I have just been searching for royalty free background music and have found site that will sell it to you for lots of dollars. Ken

Ken: I've mainly been using jewelbeat.com. 2.99 gets you the non-exclusive license royalty free. Something like a 35,000 song library. The songs are categorized by genre and you can hear the entire song before purchase. They charge through paypal. I've never had any problems with them. pete

This is my favorite site. Everything is free. He does sell his entire collection, but you can download individual tracks for free. http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/Songs tend to 2-5 minutes, and are quite good.

Most of the songs are like played in MIDI. One could resample them with an instrument of your choice and create new sound !!!

Thanks all. I can really save some money with the free ones. I don't make that many movies though that may change in the future. I also have a limited budget. The more I spend the less we eat. Thanks again. Ken

Not free. SmartSound. (SonicFire Pro.) www.smartsound.com It's an application I've used for years with my video editor. What I love, love, love(!) about it is you can easily adjust the lenght of the song and it seamlessly adjusts the music to fit. And it sounds great, too.
iClone 7... Character Creator... Substance Designer/Painter... Blender... Audacity... Desktop (homebuilt) - Windows 10, Ryzen 9 3900x CPU, GTX 1080 GPU (8GB), 32GB RAM, Asus X570 Pro motherboard, 2TB SSD, terabytes of disk space, dual monitors. Laptop - Windows 10, MSI GS63VR STEALTH-252, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060 (6GB), 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD

Sony used to have a product called CineScore, but they discontinued it. It's a similar idea to SmartSound. I bought CineScore when it was still available, and what I like is that it integrates with my Sony Vegas video editor, although no longer in the latest version. Having a musical background, I should actually compose my own music, but it seems that animation has sucked away my former talent...
