Made this promo video with short example clips of two action cues (full length at http://www.thefilmscorestore.com). Most of it done in Iclone, always fun to experiment there, some of it are very simple scenes, some of it very large scenes.

The music is very professional in its' quality.

I usually purchase music from jewelbeat.com and many of their songs have a crescendo in the score. In my 'Ari and the Eyes of Fire' video I use a crescendo twice to accent both the Guardian coming to life, and meeting his death. I also used crescendos to accent key moments of action in my machinima series 'Desperate Measures' so you can see how important I think they are. In fact, they are so important that without them the background music will drone me to sleep.

I listened to the music on the browse music page and I have a question. Which selection would you recommend for an action crescendo?

Thanks

Cool pete

Thanks! Happy for those comments.

@PeterB, Good point, I also like crescendos, the thing with premade tracks are they tend to be a little more even and "low-key" to suit a lot of situations and a variety of personal taste. I always stress that it's important with the "right" music for each scene, timing and dynamic is important.
I'd be happy to customize a version for you, with crescendo at the right point, just let me know.

The two tracks in the video are City Chase and Sci Fi Actiontime. (The City Chase was not on the site before due to a delay in upload, but it's there now.)
The City Chase track has no real crescendo, it fades down in intensity, like a transition to another scene.
The Sci Fi Actiontime has some crescendo but it's made to be possible to loop.
I certainly could add a version with increasing intensity to either version.
Just let me know which version you would prefer in that case.

Perhaps there could be something useful for someone's project so I mention it here, there's a 50% Holiday reduction on all tracks until Dec 31.
