| Does anyone have an efficient and effective method for reducing polygons on models you want to bring into 3DXchange? I would like to take advantage of my Poser and Daz content libraries in iClone via 3DXchange, but I'm being bogged down by high polygon counts. Anyone have any tips, or tricks?

| | Mootools has a product called Polygon Cruncher. This may work. |

| There is also VizUp. Or XSI can do a nice job (but not Fnd). Programs like Hexagon, Carrara and Vue can do decimation, but this does not always/often give very good results. Silo has a tool to optimize meshes manually.
my humble try at machinima...

| hmmm on the website it shows 3d xchange bringing in models from google with no problem.
you would think that the software would optimize the models for use in Iclone without having to shell out more cash for more apps just to make this one usable. |
