I tried this too. As Duchess images show, some outfits work fine, however others do not. You just have to experiment I guess.

Hello Fellow iCloners,

I'm also impressed by what you can do. My only question is how did you do it? How do you apply clothes to the Natural Human Base?

Sorry for this ignorant question but I highly appreciate your help!

Matthias

Hi there:

Dress Jane in whatever outfit you want the child to wear.

Press the Upper Body Button, and then click add on the right hand menu at the bottom. This will save your upper in the Custom Upper folder.
Press the Lower Body Button, and then press add on the right hand menu at the bottom. This will save the Lower inthe Custom Lower folder.

You now have the upper outfit and the lower outfit saved.

Open the child from the natural human base characters.

Go to Upperbody and click on the upper you saved from Jane. This is applied to Sarah.
Go to Lowerbody and click on the lower you saved from Jane. This is then applied to Sarah.

If it is a lowcut Jane outfit or something that accentuates the bust, it doesn't work so well. But other more modest cuts work just fine.

All the same applies to the boy character starting with Jack and saving the upper and lowers and then opening the boy natural human base character and doing the same thing.

Hopefully this makes sense.

Hello Alley,

Thanks for your idiot-proof explanation! It's so easy to do that I feel stupid now. I still have to work out how to get rid of the bust better, but I guess that's really only a matter of outfits as duchess110 showed in her/his pictures.

You helped me a lot.

Thanks again,

Matthias

I had the same experience where I purchased the Natural Human Base thinking for a hundred bucks I'd get something ready to use out of the box. By way of hoping to help others I created a tutorial video specifically using the Natural Base. Hope this helps, the address is below. I tried to make it a link but it didn't want to play nice so you'll have to copy and paste:
