Hi All, Has anyone used Mixamo fuse and have they found it worth buying. Although I am still getting my head round unity, Fuse interests me a lot and in time i would like to use it with iclone for the facial animations(unless i have read it wrong i think i can do) then back into unity. Does anyone do this, if so any feed back would be much appreciated,
Kind regards

Hi Rogan, I've seen mixed reviews on it - for some it's perfect for their character needs - for others, it's severely limited in that it has but so many mix and match parts.... the characters aren't rigged by default, and I believe - last I heard - mixamo gives you 2 free rigs a week for it. so it's not like you will be able to churn out rigged characters fast, you will be limited. it's similar to the autodesk character generator - https://charactergenerator.autodesk.com/ but mixamo's quality is a little better. so if you buy it and expect to make any character you can imagine, you may be disappointed - if you buy it and are satisfied with the selection of parts they have to make characters, you will be happy with the product.

Than you Planetstardragon for your feedback (also a belated thank you on another post I did that you replied too), at the moment I am still deciding, but with your input it helped.
Kind regards

Does Fuse have eyelashes?
Sadly, the Autodesk Character Generator does not. The characters would look much better if it did. I have put in a request with the dev team.

the autodesk generator, while cool that it's free, is surprisingly low quality coming from autodesk. still good for extras in the distance though or upgrading it yourself with better textures.

hi sen, wondeful to see you on the forums again fam! even their paid version don't look so hot - i mean, it's better than nothing and is free - and it can be fixed if you have the tools - Just saying i'm surprised they just let it go like that considering how they could take it up a level without breaking a sweat, it's good publicity too. But what can anyone say, when money becomes more important than the art, that's what we get.
