Microsoft Speech platform provides 26 TTS female voices and Balabolka is a free TTS SW.

All the stuff can be downloaded at these links:

1. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=27225 (Speech Platform - Runtime Version 11)
2. http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=27224 (TTS voices. If interested in TTS only, just download and install the .MSI files named xxxTTSxxx. The files names xxxSRxxx are for the Speech Recognition)
3. http://www.cross-plus-a.com/balabolka.htm (Balabolka free TTS SW)

One thing to be aware of is that you will need to install the 32-bit version of the runtime (even on a 64-bit OS). Otherwise the voices will not show up in balabolka.

Also, these voices are not SAPI 4 or 5, so they will in general not show up in other TTS-capable programs that rely on installed voices, such as Text Aloud or iClone.

yes, that's correct.
But you can still convert into an audio file from Balabolka and then import it into iClone.
Moreover, these voices are free...
Only... I wonder why did MS put 26 female voices and no male voices at all...
