Hello reallusion,
More content creating questions:
I purchased the nature builder pack (biosphere/earthsculptor/garden) and a great park it is. thank you for that. What I would like to know is: If I create environments using the plants from the biosphere and garden plants, will people that buy my product have to have the biosphere and the garden pack as well?

If the answer is yes, you guys should have a special option where customers can buy just the plants that are being use on the set. It would be unfair to the customer to have to buy the whole pack.

Thanks for the info,

Hi stuckon3d,

The simple answer here is that you can't share or sell packs that contain items from the Biosphere or Gardening packs. Those items are licensed only to the person who purchased the pack and shouldn't be shared at all.

Apologies if the changes to the EULA and CCD Development are causing confusion. It will take abit of time to get used to it for all of us.

Yes and No.

For the Gardening pack, those items will be individually sold on the BackStage, meaning when they buy your "Scene with gardening pack" they will have the option, if they do not have the gardening pack, to buy all the missing items with one click on the backstage inside of iClone3.

For the Biosphere, they cannot, too many trees to place on the backstage. You will have to stipulate that end-user should already own biosphere to be able to properly display and export using your content.

Those packs are protected, and will display with a water-mark in both their view screen and exported materials. until they own all the rights to what they have purchased.

But, using textures from total material is completely alright and strongly urged for you to do so!

It seems to be logical that to buy a set which has includes of, say, The Garden Pack and BioSphere, you'd need these initially to display the set.....

But... for design alone...... if someone made a recontruction of a 15th Century English Garden (For instance) and used (for instance) simple graphics  or building blocks to re-create the central main house/mansion (Their own design and so no infringement) within the garden whch use Bio and TheGardenPack, and the garden was complete with bush mazes, fountains, walkways and rose gardens, a walled "secret" garden.....
Surely this "time consumption in creation and design" can thereafter be priced and sold to those who have already laid profit to Reallusion for the Two primary packs concerned in the set design anyway and the further fee would be rendered a profit to the Designer?

There has to be a way a person can spend three weeks creating a set for a client and make a tickle from it????

Even at this stage, I can see people creating ultimately sophisticated groundworks with skills that are not common to everybody.

Now couple this with someone who, as a Reallusion arffilliate, offeres not just the Garden Pack and BioSphere together (for instance) but also adds an amazingly inspirational Roman Garden AND throws in a couple of English Country Gardens to boot....
This would with NO DOUBT push a teetering potential customer over the boundaries and they'd make the purchase of the two Reallusion packs in order to obtain the sets on offer.

Does this make sense and would it be allowed. Surely yes?
