Following-on from my previous Thread, the Model is now complete, with Horses Manually Animated riding up & down their poles (bar one). The Carousel Rotation is Animated using Physics Tool Box. There's a slight problem with the Rotation appearing to judder slightly & therefore not smooth, when viewed on my 24" Monitor @ 1280 x 720 Resolution.. I would appreciate if anyone-else is noticing this & if-so, does it bother them? Click on the HD Icon to view in HD. TIA

Peter, I do notice it a bit, whereas all the other movements are smooth and are looking very good indeed. It is not too obvious, but I wonder what's causing it. Is it a limitation of the Physics motor in that it rotates incrementally (i.e., by so many degrees, like a stepping motor) rather than continuously?

Thanks for viewing, Job In theory Motor A should Rotate continuously & does with other Prop Rotations. eg; Aircraft propeller, wheels etc. Maybe adjusting the Rotation speed will fix it. Or possibly Mark's Manual Rotation Tut in the other Thread. The number of different processes I've gone through to Animate the Fair Ground rides is too complicated to Post & the reason why I used Physics Tool Box rather than Mark's Manual Rotation Tut in the other Thread. However, now that I've almost finished Animating the rides, I'll go back to Mark's Tut, for a possibly smoother Rotation..

@Colour, BEAUTIFUL!!! I spied the stationary horse. It that going to be significant in your story? Or was it an oversight?

Very nice!!! Edit - Maybe you could tell this was done. After the contest of course." @ All Thanks for the nice comments Folks @ Sharon Previous Projects have been discussed in the Pinhead Threads in Video Friends Forum. However, sadly I've relinquished my duties of double Posting over there, due to the lack of Forum Member participation. I think it would be nice if we could have a separate Pinhead Project discussion Thread here instead, to Post nice comments re; the individual Clips, in recognition of their Authors' hard work. To finally round-off the Project. I think we all like to think of the Projects as a complete experience, from the Opening Intro Clip, general discussion in the Project Thread, Awards Show etc. Something I think we should all pencil in & make time for, looking forward to it each year. Here's hoping for a good turn-out this year.
