I created a project and a flash output. It works locally but I can not get it to work online. I uploaded all the data in the data directory and the FLV Files and the SWF file. All I see are the start and stop buttons. Are there any other files that need to be uploaded I am not seeing besides these like a bin directory?
AC_RunActiveContent.js
dog_talk.flv
dog_talkstandby.flv
flashswf.swf
dog_talk.html

I checked the page code and can see nothing amiss. Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

This is the link.

Looking at the source code on your pages and the originating code, this code (image) does not appear. Not sure if that's the problem, but if may be. Just trying to help.

I looked and it is there. Not sure why it wasn't when you looked.

No flash file will play, created from Crazy Talk, on the web but they all do locally. I tied several browsers. What could be missing?

Hi,

Have you made any changes to the code since you tested it locally? If you haven't already done so, you could try the exact web code locally again just to be certain it is working.

I'll ask the support team to take a look at the exported HTML from Crazytalk to see if there is a problem with the JS and the latest flash player.

I'll update this thread as soon as I find out anything. Thanks for your patience.

Do Flash files created with other programs work non-locally?

I ran into a similar problem a while back but it had to do with the software I was using ( Dreamweaver CS4) I also found out that you have to have certain Flash files in your site server's root folder in order for flv's to play in browsers non-locally. There are several threads on the Adobe Flash forums that talk about this problem.

Good Luck!

Cathy
