In 4.5 when you scrub the timeline the imported wav can not be heard. Is there a way to make the wav audible while scrubbing the frames? This would be a great feature to help with lip syncing if it is not available now. It would help greatly in selecting mouth positions for eah frame.

Hi, rh5454

I think this is really a helpful feature to make lip-syncing.
However, this feature will not be supported in the next version.
Since we will provide the powerful device controller then, I believe you won't hardly do lip-syncing frame by frame any more.
"Edit-to-play" will be the core benefit in the next engine.

Thanks
Visconti

First of all let me introduce myself. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada where the present windchill is -45. We think that is quite nice as last week it was -56 (- 65 or so in fahrenheit). My granddaughter calls me "high tech Grandma" as I love all the programs and gadgets out there.

My latest undertaking is Crazy Talk V5 and scrubbing timeline was what I was looking for. So I can't lip sync my character while the dialog is playing? I watched a show of a member's this afternoon and he seemed to have it down pat with his little granddaughter singing. I assumed he had done each syllable separately.

Hi, high tech grandma

That's right.
It would be a little difficult for us to set the key perfectly for lip-sync.
But you can still try to capture the facial features by puppeteering, it could help.
And please note that there is half-speed mode can be switched.

Thanks

How do you access half-speed mode?  That would be a big help.  In puppeteering, it goes by so fast, I can't even make a move, and timeline is over.

Thanks!

Jean

All you need to do is hit Enter/Return to start recording instead of the Space Bar and half speed mode will start.
