Boy oh boy, were we chatty this week! So much had been happening in the iClone world since our last show, it felt like we hadn't talked to each other in a month!

I had some fun creating a little tribute song to a few recent shows. As our loyal listeners surely know, we have been hearing some strange & unusual words coming from our guests lately. I hereby present you with....The Greeble Song!

We moved on from such pointless frivolity to announce several filmmaking competitions that our audience might want to get involved in. Here's links to a few of them:

Hair Loss Awareness by Hair Loss Dot Com
Pinhead Silent Movie Competition
48 Hour Machinima
Harb40's Passion Competition

We are so excited to announce that a few more iClone movies have been accepted to be screened at the Machinima Expo November 22, 2009 in Second Life. Click here for the full list of films.

This leads right into our "very special announcement" - we have been asked to present iClone 4 as a machinima engine at the Machinima Expo, as announced on their site:

12PM (PST) -Iclone 4 with “Wolf and Dulci” & added help from John Martin

1230PM -Open Sim/Second Life with Katy Fosk – (Parallel Event: IClone 4 Follow up in Reallusion Pavillion)

We also discussed some hot spots to go to get tutorials & information about using iClone. Some you might want to check out:

iClone Revolution
iClone Certified Training
iClone Wiki
Reallusion tutorials
Gabe's tutorial thread

The Stump the Wolf question this week focused on reflective maps.

Our exclusive freebie is our first iclone 4 freebie. A Jimmy Toon exclusive character avatar.

The promo video this weeks feature some content from Wolf's upcoming mega sci-fi pack.

Will be nice to get Warlord on the air and pick his brain. This week's promo video brings in a true hollywood guest star to assist in the tom foolery.

Enjoy

Also this week's exclusive listener freebie is the iwalle character himself

This week iWallE made his debut in Wolf's promo video.

Wolf created this little fella using CloneBones and a few other tricks, and describes his process on the show - including using video as a texture.

iWallE is also this week's freebie. Ain't he a cutie?

We also delved into Armstrong's stunning work in Thi Mai's Evolution.

This is a fascinating piece, as it explores the evolution of both the delightful character as well as iClone.

WarLord joined us in the show as well, and came with goodies! You can see some of his iClone freebies at his website, www.iclonerevolution.com. He & Wolf did some technical talk about... well.... basically..EXPLOSIONS! There are some exciting possibilities in the integration of other resources into iClone and we'll definitely be keeping our eye on where his efforts go next.

And, oh yes - we also discussed the recent feature of our show on the Reallusion Developer Center Spotlight.

We're going to start to delve a little deeper into the iClone4 features in our show over the upcoming weeks. We want to make sure we're hitting on the topics that are most important to you, so please don't be shy about letting us know what you want to hear about (dulcineatmo@gmail.com).

As I spent some time fiddling with the Jimmy Toon character this weekend, and Wolf provided a special Jimmy Toon freebie just a few weeks ago, we're going to venture into cartoon land and talk a bit about this little fella.

Have you done something special with Jimmy Toon? We'd love to talk about your work with him as well - just post in this thread & we'll be sure to take a look at it.

Assuming I can convince Wolf that my idea for a little teensy participation opportunity (we hate to call them contests) is a fun one, we might have a new one to announce tonight as well.

And have you noticed how many movies have been released over the last week? We're going to try to cover as many of those as we can as well.

See you tonight at 9pm CST / 10pm EST!

The One Where We Go APE

Did you catch the promo video Wolf made this week? I appreciate all the viewers who vouch for my innocence!

Several interesting movies were released last week, and we discussed a few of them during the show. Of special note was TheBiz's House of Horror:

TheBiz's House of Horror from thebiz on Vimeo.

Also discussed were my recent bit of craziness - PlayLand Episode 1 (featuring a special Jimmy Toon textured by Wolf), two movies by Chrisproductions - The Dead Again and The Change. As we talked about The Change, Wolf shared with us a few tips on how to make a face transition in iClone. We also looked at the delightful piece by WarLord - Wulf-B-Gone.

We talked about how much the fun the iClone Jimmy Toon character is to play with, along with a reminder from Wolf on how easy it can be to retexture him.

From some of our listeners that don't have 3D exchange, a special request was made for Jimmy Toon props of a different variety than some items currently on the market, but still maintaining the cartoon vibe. As a result we're showcasing Sketchup Designer Ian West and some of his cartoon style buildings. We've converted these props from Sketchup to iclone and are giving them away as one of tonight's Freebies on the show. Thank You Ian. These are top notch.

We finally settled on a name for our not-contests-participation-fun. After an unusual discussion, we decided to henceforth call these APE's - Audience Participation Events.

In the first official Wolf & Dulci Hour APE extravaganza, we are inviting you to make an Awwwww Shucks! movie.

The only criteria are that the movie includes both the Wolf & Dulci iWallE character and Jimmy Toon.

The judges will be Wolf's two daughters (6 and 8 yrs old) and my son (5 yrs old). Based on their strict standards, the movie that provides the biggest Awwww Shucks! moments will win.

The winner will receive a custom Jimmy Toon character designed by Wolf.

We hope to see some fun videos in this event and look forward to seeing the cute & cuddly side of all of you.

Also this week's exclusive listener freebie is the iwalle character himself!

HEY!, How are you. I dont think I've sent you anything before on forum!!! Oh well. That's what comes of being swamped in BioTrees and BioShrubs.

Just a quickie to say thanks for the fun on the Thi-Mai (pr. tea-MY. Whata  bitch of a name to choose, huh?) video. No one sees any of the footage I do but coming is a series of  Thi-Mai promo's which basically are used as 30 second and 1 min. intrigue movies where the close is "iCLONE!" and a statement, like, "Bringing the world to life!" not THAT particular one but you know what I mean. That kind of heartstopper statement that's supposed to summarise the world universe and everything in one line.

Anyway... back to the point. Yes thre IS one.... sometimes I am wrapped up in widemode... and you need a kind of email newsletter thing or some kind of email prompt where people lke me who are half binary anyway and semi-attached to our puters, can turn on your show as it starts, while we work,  not dig it out of an archive a month later because wew were too damned lazy to keep in touch with the real world.

Just an idea.

Thanks.

It's a long post BUT.................................................................... I use short words.

Thanks Armstrong - that's a great suggestion and I spent some time this evening finding an (hopefully) easy to use solution.
