| | Hello Reallusionists...I've been using iClone for a couple of months now with the Undo feature working just fine. Now for some reason the Undo does not work. The Undo icon isn't selectable and the Control + z will not work either. Is there an option that is suppose to be on (can't see one) Has anybody had this problem? Appreciate any help...thanks.

| Look at the "Preference" settings at the top-right of the program interface. See if you have the undo settings enabled.

| | Cricky, Thanks for quick reply. I've checked my Preferences and my Undo Times has always been set on "20". Other than that, I don't see an Enable Undo feature. (Here's a screen grab with what I see...I'm using iClone3.2 Pro)

| Could just be you have some anomalous junk information hanging around inside your system. Try a system clean and defrag, plus + as a test of iClone create a Blank Project and do a few things in it to see if the Undo function works in it. The project you are currently working on may have too much data for your system memory to handle. It all depends on a lot of things related to system configurations.
Undo is basically a remembrance of everything going on inside the project, so the higher the undo number, the more it has to remember. Try reducing the number of undo's. I use 3-5 because if I haven't seen the problem in that number of changes, it's usually too late to fix it anyway.
That's all I can think of at the moment, except to reload iClone, which is a last resort.

| | Cricky, Thanks for all the help...before I cleaned and defragged I tried opening a new project and un-doing basic animations and saw that the Undo works. I believe the problem is like you said, my project has too much data for memory to handle. I've been working on this scene for a month with a custom 3D scene (42,000 polys) and custom props along with 12 characters in there as well. I guess the Undo stopped working back when I imported the heavy 3D scene, I'll have to check my earlier saved versions and "chop-up" my project so I have less objects/characters per scene to get the Undo back. Again, I appreciate the advice and all the help! Cheers, omanuel

| | Apologies to the forum if I posted this Newbie question in the "Say Hello" thread. So, to start off again, I'd like to say "Hello". I've only been working with iClone since February since my company bought it for the use of it's Machinima capabilites for our training projects. I'm a 3D graphics artist with most of my experience in modeling and animation with Maya, but I must say I am very impressed with what iClone has to offer. The extensive library and customizable features gives quick turn-around renders needed for tight deadlines... I'm looking forward to learning more of iClone each day and hope to contribute to the forum...I'll be posting a video (music video) I did messing around and practicing with the tools to help me learn the software. Cheers again
