I feel that the appearance of rolled sleeves and henley (banded) collar in the G3 clothing reflects a response to my design needs, whether or not it was intentional. The addition of the self-illuminating property was a far more critical development in making my work possible.

So . . . thanks!

Hi,

More information on the new features like Lightmaps will be coming soon. They will be explained in more detail then. Thanks for your interest.

Thanks for the update
I use the plugin LightUp http://www.light-up.co.uk/ for sketchup to make great lightmaps, but unfortunatly i cant transfer them to Iclone.
Maybe i the future?

Hi Peter,

Really looking forward to working with Iclone4 when it is ready

Any more info on how Light Mapping is going to work, and also the easier Particle placement.

Regards

Christer

Thanks Peter,

From what I have seen so far, iClone 4 looks like it will be just what the doctor ordered.

Thanks again,

Reallusion doesn't make a lot of overt promises to implement requested features, but it's amazing that they deliver on so many of the things users ask for.

I suspect iClone 4 represents the kind of product Reallusion always wanted to create, ever since the days of It's Me. Anybody here remember It's Me?

With the universe of props and characters expanding rapidly, and with the modeling and rendering so polished and powerful, I have argued that the biggest room for improvement lies in expanding the quality and variety of animation content.

They're doing it!!!!

I agree. This is the reason I went with iClonee. It's because there are very few limits to things you can do. It starts out as a very simple to use software, but once you get passed that simplicity, you can go advanced and do all sorts of indepth things. It's almost like a dream to think something like this exists. And now they're doing even MORE with 3DX4... yeah, that wasn't suppose to rhyme.

And they said they're even working to put in physics! Hopefully this goes well. Yes I konw there are already other tools that can do it, but I konw that RL has the power and knowledge to do it.

Ok maybe the content is a little high somtimes... but then they went and fixed that with backstage!... so that's still good.

I have to say that this is one of the best times I've had with a software company ever... and now that I find out I can do anime/cell shaded stuff in iClone (Psudo cell shading anyway) I'm really going to have some fun.

Thanks RL and I wish you much luck in putting in the new requests.

All sounds good..
I agree about auto save as soon as possible...
But the one I really miss is at least one other viewing monitor... so that preview cam could be being used to work in and say camera 1 with the shot could be viewed at the same time to see the results of the changes etc...
best wishes Nic
