I'm using the clone cloth and for some reason I am getting streaks on the skin and neck when
I cut away the textures via the opacity option. I have no streaks in the opacity jpg so I don't know
where its coming from. No matter what character I use, the streaks appear, but only if I cut
away some of the clothing to reveal the skin underneath.

Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?

Thank you.

Michael

Hi Michael,

Could you post an image showing the problem. This would make it much easier to see what is happening.

It seems strange that you would have streaking on the skin when editing the CloneCloth opacity map with clean lines. Are you using a solid black colour to mask out the parts of the clothing you do not want to show and only white for those you want visible on the opacity map?

Also if you have any of the pre-made CloneCloth textures, such as those from the content store, do you have any problems with those?

Hi Peter,

I don't have a webserver to post the images to. Yes, I am using solid black and solid white.
I don't have problems when I have used the clone cloth, apply texture and then opacity, so I guess
I'll use it that way, because now I'm not getting it. When/if I figure out what I was doing to cause
the streaks, I'll let you know.

Thanks for your reply.
