These look good bur are they just background images, images on a flat plane or are they going to be 3D?

Hello Flybynight,
what you are seeing here is not a still image mapped on a plane, you are looking at a full 3d environment optimized for iclone. That whole side of the street (as shown on the black and white image that has the sketchup model has less polygons than a single g2 character. I can move in that environment at 65 frames per second with pixel shader on. The three building that you see on the color rendered images have a total of 7500 polygons, that's it. I will post a movie soon so that you can see things from every angle. Stay tuned, what you see here is only the begining.
