| it's been a long time that I try in vain to create hair for my characters through 3dsmax and iclone plugin ...
But I'm never happened and I ended up myself to accessories (wigs) instead of real hair ... Well, I followed exactly the guide :' Creating and Exporting Characters
for iClone' in Reallusion Developer Series. But the hair don't follow character's head movement and stay fix
I do not know what level my error occurs..
Have you ever tried to create succesfully Hair for your iClone standard characters? So thank you to post your techniques here or send them to me by PM.

| | OK Dave! For a hair: -Make your mesh modeling anything. A blob, a sphere, etc. -Pull vertex with soft selection to make bunches of strands. -Now: Name the mesh "Hair" Yea! funny name for a piece of hair! -Apply a skin modifier and use the head and neck bones. If it is long hair use some other bones like collars and upper torso. -Apply a well designed hair texture with it's opacity map to the mesh. -Name this texture: (guess?) Hair !!!!!! -DO NOT LINK OR ATTACH THE MESH TO ANYTHING. -Export Standard character. -You have "hair"... Under that flamenco cap!!!!!! Mike

| | Good Dave! Now you ow me a couple of hair samples for my collection. I don't make much hair this days, as I am immersed in a very interesting project and finalizing my SkirtMagic. Of course I was joking!!!! You don't "ow" me a thing!. But it would be a nice present to get some of your work to use in my promotionals. Mike
