Looking to purchase, have asked through support but have had no response in 10 days.

When download free trial of Crazy talk 5 try to install but get error
FEATURE TRANSFER ERROR
COMPONENT - CT51_ENU_DATA_COMMON_CUSTOM
FILE PATH
ERROR = ACCESS DENIED

Downloaded and did as instructed so am unable to even assess wether the program will do what we are after.

If anyone in the forum knows of a way round or how to get assistance from support before purchase we would be grateful.

Got this message from support some 10 days after asking the question.

However my answer is "I BEG YOUR PARDON" I have no idea what they are telling me - I am running XP and am setup as Administrator - do I have to change other settings somewhere on my PC to install a trial program - if so how? and why?

I have replied to support but in light of the huge timespan between question and answer would be very grateful if someone on here knows..

Thank you for contacting Reallusion.

Please make sure you login with administrator privilege on your PC when you are installing CrazyTalk. You can also create a new Local Administrator account on the system and install CrazyTalk from the new user.

Hi,

Firstly apologies for the long delay in getting a reply from support. It is unusual to have to wait so long.

As you have Administrator privileges this would not seem to be the problem as the error message suggested. It may be that your security or antivirus software is denying access. Perhaps you could try switching off this software before installing. Obviously make sure to switch it back on again afterwards.

Really the best thing to do is to reply to support and explain your that you are running as an administrator and the problem persists. They will continue to help you on this matter. I would also doubt very much that you will have to wait another 10 days for a reply this time.
