It's not just the Forum that is sometimes slow. I've just purchased the Horse and Tack set for iClone 2.5. The transfer rate has dropped to 9,44KB/Sec after 20MB DL. 4 more hours to finish the DL

Hi, wavffm

Thanks for the info/
We will check the DL server to see if anything abnormal.
And you can also provide your location and DL period for our reference.
Appreciated very much!

Hi Visconti,

I'm living in Germany, so far I've had no problems with any Downloads from the server. However last night - Oct. 27th. - my first attempt to download timed out after 2 hours. I started the DL at approx. 9:00 PM Central Europe Time. The second attempt at approx 11:30 PM, CET, took about 1 1/2 hours to finish. I've got the file on disk, so no problems there - it's just that everything was soo slow.

Thanks for asking.

Initially the forum was about a 20 second pause between links.

Now I think it's fractionally over one second from France & England.
Our setup here is a dual Intel Xeon Processor 3.4GHz with 2MB Cache, 8 GB RAM, Dual 136 GB SCSI Drive for the operating system, RAID Mirroring for the operating system, Dual Power Supplies, Dual Gigabit Network Adapters with a  100% Cisco Gigabit Network and two terrabyte SCSI data drives backend. 20 meg/ps net connection.

However, downloading the Horse pack (130 megs or so) from Reallusion left room for Lunch and coffee whereas this would have taken about a minute from other places.

COMPLETED SETS= Medieval Village - Skylander - Toadstool Ville - MoonFlake Lake - The Farm -
NOW RENDERING

Hi, guys

Thanks for the feedback.

As to the horse pack...I have something to add...
After consulting from the web master, the download server seems to work normally these two weeks. So, It should be natural to take you 1-2 hours to download such a big pack (168 MB) if the speed of your bandwidth is average. But we will keep watch this issue to see if we need to upgrade our download service.

Thanks for your info
Visconti

I have Charter Cable Connection of 5MB. My purchase of Iclone 2.5 should've only taken 15 or less minutes, but it took almost 1 1/2 hours. I'm living in West Tennessee. Hope this helps in your search for a cure.
