ok, last st00pid n00b question for a while... probably...

when i have characters walking on raised surfaces such as pavements etc, they "sink" part way through the animation

at the start of the walk cycle i set Avatar/Transform/Move Z to, say, 8. i also set it to 8 at the end of the walk cycle (and nothing in between). however, after a few frames the system has decided to set it back down to 0

the only solution i've found so far is to manually set the first few frames to 8 - after that it seems quite happy to keep it at 8 for the rest of the cycle

anyone else have the same problem? any better solutions than the one i've come up with?

Hi,

Which version of iClone are you using?

This being the iClone2 forum I would assume IC2 but you mentioned in another post you had iClone3. As answers to questions can be very different depending on the version, I just wanted to check.

No problem. It does take a while to get used to the layout of the forum.

If in doubt, post your questions in iClone - General.
