| Someone is bound to have considered this longer than I have, so I'm asking for your wisdom.
The widget animation naturally has two constraints: it needs to be fairly short (filesize), and it needs to loop smoothly. Pretty tough constraints, really, because repeating short actions isn't entirely natural behavior.
The kind of motion which satisfies this best is the kind people are using: dance.
If you wanted to do something more natural/cinematic, what are your alternatives?
A repetitive work like hammering or painting?
Walking off the screen and then reappearing from the other side?
Any others? |
