Two items updated......

1. CrazyTalk 5.0 will support .png
2. 5.0 won't export CT web components, any web application could be conducted with flash outputs.

Thanks
Visconti

Hi Visconti,

Thanks for the update. Having .PNG support will be a nice bonus. There are some great new features on the list but I'm really liking the sound of the "Expressive Head Movement" and the "Puppeteering Panel".

Crazytalk 5 is really shaping up to be an excellent new product.

On item 2, I hope I'm wrong, but it sounds as if the CT runtime capabilities are being downgraded in 5.0.

In the demos for CT 4.x, for example, you can step through a list of models and at runtime apply any of the N scripts to that model. If we have M models and N scripts, then in 5.0 we will have to export MxN flash permutations, rather than just M+N models and scripts as we do now in 4.x.

Is that right???

Hi, creeksquid

You got the point...
This was also a huge debate within the product team.

Web compoment was designed to benefit our users in the begining.
But in real case, only a minority uses this feature so far.
After deliberate evaluation, we know the efforts to keep this feature is extremely high.
So, the next version will temporarily removed this feature.

However...we will keep our attention on the voices about this case.
And we will consider get it back in the patch or something if the demand is undeniable deeply.

Thanks
Visconti

Hi Visconti. Thanks for the update. I have nearly a hundred models and 50+ scripts. I hope that either the demand is great or that engineering can offer a "batch export" utility as a workaround. I'd be happy to help engineering prototype a simple front end for this or just point them to Adobe Photoshop's batch features as a high-end model of what can be done.

I use the English version, which works well, so I don't know if this will work for you.

Any update on whether or not Reallusion will bring back the CT web component?
