When I record, the mouth and lips move initially but then stop, even though the sound continues. Help!

during long passages running in real-time, speech and movements are out of sync after some time. when you render it will fit again..

First thing to do is ensure that your graphics and sound drivers are up to date. Quite often issues like this can be resolved by simply updating your drivers.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please contact Technical Support using the link below. Please supply your dxdiag.txt log file so we can check this (instructions on Support Form page).
