I would like to have a page in the book prop (the animated book prop from the recent RL pack) that has a picture surrounded by text (as a book might) and would like to have the picture use a movie. Currently when I add the video to the book page diffuse map it takes the whole page. Any way to do this without adding the video to a plane and laying that on the book? This method doesn't fit the curved book page and when the book closes the plave must be adjusted to remain inside.Try putting a border type graphic in the opacity channel.

| If you make an opacity map, you can constrain the video to a certain area of the page. However, you're cropping the whole video.
I haven't done this, but maybe you can use the Tiling to make the video tile several times over the page, then use the opacity map to crop out all but one tile of the video.

| I think this is what you're talkin' about biz!?
I loaded the book prop in iClone, picked a page(2nd) launched Photoshop, saved the page as a jpeg or whatever image file you want, loaded the image into a video track in Vegas Pro, conformed the timeline properties to the image size in this case 512x 512 ( I cheated and up it to 1000x1000). Added a video clip to a track on top of the jpeg image track, sized it to fit on the image, rendered a wmv( or whatever video file will work in iClone. Then back in iClone loaded the Vegas rendered clip as a diffusion map on the book's page.... at least I think that's what I did. 
I guess it's one way to do it....

So the entire page is still a video but looks like a video on the page. A bit confusing but smart. Thanks fellas.
Well kinda....I my case the video is "ONLY" the video...in a way . You are still free to modify the rest of page in Photoshop, or whatever paint program, you could have text and artwork around the video frame and even the rectangle video frame can be altered and the video positioned anywhere on the page in Vegas as well.
