| | Hi. When I hit the play button after recording a physics toolbox animation, the animation does not play though there is animation information listed in the timeline for both the motor and the prop. If I do not hit the play button right after recording a physics toolbox animation and then scrub the playhead back and forth, I can see the animation. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks. |

| Yes, these kind of things are the reasons why I asked for tutorials couple posts before. We can't fully benefit from such versatile plugin without extensive learning.
Your problem is probably in this: you must turn off physics simulation after recording, because otherwise iClone will record simulation again and again...

| might be a nice idea if they made the physics buttons on iclone turn red if they are in record or green if they are in safe mode....easy to forget and overlook that little button.

| | Thanks a lot. That did the trick. For those who might not know how to turn off the physics simulation, select the object you applied the physics toolbox animation to (if not already selected), right click and select Physics from the right click context menu. The Object Physics Settings panel will appear. Uncheck the Activate Physics option on the upper left. You can also open the Object Physics Settings panel via the big Physics Settings button under Dynamic in the Modify Panel (this is available when the Set tab and Prop button are selected) or by pressing the third button from the left in the toolbar. The hotkey for opening this panel is Shift F9. |
