Hello!

I've just discovered your software earlier today while searching for a mouth animation software. I current use the adobe production suite, but needed something where i could manage to upkeep my animation workflow on a daily basis for my new show.

Recently, I had to do a clean install of windows because of obscure registry errors (obscure enough that my OS programmer friend couldn't troubleshoot them) creating problems for some of my software. This was a fairly excruciating process overall, since my system is finely organized and quite large.

I've been doing extensive research on your products, etc. for several hours now and would like to try out the CTA-P prior to making my purchase to ensure it fits my needs. However, I am concerned with the posts I've read regarding the uninstalling process of your CTA-P trial. I've searched, and found nothing that mitigates my concern. Furthermore, I've read on your trial download page that the "Setup will complete copying program files to your system and updating the **register**. You will see the "Setup Complete" screen. Click "Finish" to complete the installation."

**Does register mean registry? Or updating the registration of the trial via Reallusion? This is unclear to me.

Sorry for the long post. Essentially, I'd like to know:

1. Can I download the CTA-P trial directly onto my external HD and run the program from there?
A. If so, will all of the files go directly to and remain on the external HD, or will some already be installed onto my desktop?
a. I understand that "CTA120_Pro_Trial_Enu.exe" will necessarily go directly to my downloads file, lest I configure my browser otherwise.

2. If not, can you link me to a source or two that may help reassure me that the uninstalling problems I've read about here and elsewhere have a proven fix, or that it is a sufficiently scarce occurrence?

Thanks for bearing with me, I very much so anticipate purchasing your software, just would like to try it first and do so with confidence of a relatively smooth [and entirely registry-error) free ride.

Hi..

The trial version, just like the full version needs to be installed onto your computer. You can't simply run the program from the downloaded installer. However the location of the install can be to any drive you wish. During installation of CTA your system registry will be updated. This is normal and all software will do this during installation. There is nothing to worry about doing this. It is just your computers way of keeping track of all the software that is installed on it.
