Hi,
Here is one for the boffins on the forum. I would like to make an animation starting with a wire mesh of a female progressing in stages to the full model . I have this idea of the model walking and slowly changing . I have never seen a wireframe model for iclone but if it is possible would like to try it . Can anyone help?

Thanks as always Ranger

It would be fairly easy to create a mesh type texture to cover the figure and then a few others showing gradual changing to normal skin tone. That would be very easy using transparency layers in your image editor.

During the filming process you could use quick cuts or disolves or even easier would be to cheat a little and have the character walk past a a series of pillars or some other obstacles and then by making the changes on the timeline, have a new textured character emerge the other side. With a little creativity it could be very effective.

If you do make the finished movie why not post it here on the forum so others can see how you did it.

good points by peter - i've also used the video editor to do this - basically render the same pose/action twice, with different textures/characters for each one then use a video editor to composite it:

check out the intro of this video where i used this type of transformation

You have a human skin texture in iClone already. All you need to do is with the G2 Jane or Jack character in the scene, hit Avatar, Skin, Modify and Launch Diffuse to open the skin texture. You can then edit the texture to your needs.
