Halloween Scream

So it’s October, eh? What can we do in October? Rake leaves because of the Fall season, celebrate "Oktoberfest", or… make scary Pops (it means you don't have to create a meaningful story, but just make your character show up and scare people) in honor of Halloween!!?? I do anything apart from rake the leaves! And do I really need a special occasion to consume beer?!

Remember all the scary movies when you were a kid? Or was it too traumatizing and has been erased from your memory banks? It’s time to get those imagination cogs a’ crankin’ because it’s time to show off your movie making skills!

Hi, Stuckon3d

We suggest 15-30 seconds since a short clip is easier for most users.
If you have any good idea to make it a complete movie (and more than 30 seconds), we will also love to receive it.
Any kind of submission will be appreciated!!

Thanks
Visconti

Hi, Aknzrdude

In iClone3, the native format of character file is "iCharacter".
So, the required submission should be "iCharacter", but we also allow "VNS" since some characters might come from iClone old versions.

I hope this info helps

Hi Visconti,

I have a questions about the grading on the "character style".

Grading: a. Character Style (40%); b. Sense of Horror (30%); c. Animation Skill (30%)

Do people that buy the characters get the same grading as people that make their own? I just want to make sure im not going to be penalized if I use already made characters from the store.

Thanks

Stuckon3d

Hi, Shockwave

We don't limit the submission numbers of each member.
But one member can be only favored with one prize since we would like to provide many chances for different users.

Hi, Stuckon3d

The "Character Style" will be judged by the shape, the texture, and even the personality.
So the grade might not be the same even you use the same character from the store.
This actor should fit the story.
The grades of the characters from the store might be higher/lower than the ones you created for this competition. It depends on the quality.

I hope this info helps

Thanks
Visconti
