| OK, was playing around this weekend, and I put a bed in my scene to play around a bit with the interaction stuff I saw in one of the tutorials (Where you have your character open the car door and get in for instance).
Well, for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to make somebody sit on the bed!! Am I doing something wrong, am I missing something???
Thanks

| | Are you using the iProp bed or a standard prop bed? If you use the iProp bed found in Set - Props - iProps - Home then you just need to follow the steps below. 1.. Load the iProp bed into your scene. 2.. First select the actor you wish to interact with the bed. 3.. Then select the bed and Right Click on it. Under the Operate sub menu choose one of the 8 options. 4.. Your previously selected actor should move to the bed and perform the action. That's all there is to it. I hope this helps.

| Ahhh, I purchased a bed with the BackStage Beta to try it out, so I figured I would just use that.
Is it possible to use the iProp movements on purchased props? |

| kray (9/29/2008) Ahhh, I purchased a bed with the BackStage Beta to try it out, so I figured I would just use that.
Is it possible to use the iProp movements on purchased props?A quick workaround for using other non iProps is as follows. 1.. Load the iProp and position it where you want. 2.. Load another ordinary prop and scale and position it as close as possible to the iProp. 3.. Then make the iProp invisible by lowering the opacity to 0. 4.. You can then select the iProp in Scene Manager and use the Operate functions as normal. 5.. Your actor will then appear to sit on the ordinary prop instead of the iProp. Give it a try. It can be very effective.
