here's my samurai video - i created this as a way to learn the ropes of iClone 3 - but first, a huge apology to japanese speakers - i couldn't get japanese voice actors for this so ended up using Japanese conversation videos i found in YouTube and used those for the character audio - i then added the subtitles which are completely different translation of the audio but for the sake of this samurai video, let's pretend it does

i designed most of the costumes, sets, props, shygirl designed the mother's costume and swords were all 3d warehouse converts

watch video here

Ditto the brilliant!!!

While everthing about this video is outstanding, the way you have captured the atmosphere with use of lights and camera work is very impressive.  I am not skilled at all in lighting...

Question....is there a huge improvement in this area in Iclone 3?

thanks Raven, Alley and Brian

it was frustrating at first, especially on the motion - the idle motion kept being inserted until i figured out how to turn it off

as for lighting - to me it is one of the best improvements of IC3 (in addition to dept of field) - you can place individual area lights rather than the 'global' light that was used in IC2.5 - and the lighting alone can help improve how a scene/texture looks - and when combined with the depth of field, makes the scene a bit more realistic
