Neil, touching tale.. You did an amazing job with the environment and setting the mood and feel to the original story. I thought the cottage, stables, and horses all had the fairy tale quality & charm. Looking forward to see what you do with parts 2 & 3.

Outstanding as always.

How you entwined the story and the use of iClone to tell it was quite captivating.

I must say I watched this with my kids before they went to school this morning, they stood in silence and awe fascinated by the story until it had finished.

You have a wonderful gift for telling a tale in iClone.

Hello Good people....

I thought I would call by as I have been hushed for some time. The recession has bitten here hard. And everything is in Storage temporarily.

Everything is in teachests at the moment so I cannot complete the Chinese Exhibition either until next week when I will have reorganised everything again.

in the lapse I have only my laptop. During the packing I discovered again an old very sought after watercolour storybook called PARLICOOT, and how he finds a playmate.

Originally a Flash Vector / sprite project of mine in 2003, the story written by Alex McLeod in 1943 has finally started to come to life in iClone.
It's a simple creation, and, using only a standard laptop with no particular horsepower to speak of, I have created a rather pleasant little 3D scene.... cottage, trees, water, horses, stables etc and included the limited original 2D paintings of this watercolor book inside the 3D environment.

It IS a quick fix, but I rather thought it might intrigue someone who saw this as all they required to add a little life to projects where visually the original material was a bit thin, and then flesh out some intrigue by incorporating it in an environment that was engineered to hold the story and add volume to the final.
This is for the kds anwyay. No matter how big they are.

Anyway... I'm still working in the field.... and await my precious Exhib's completion but here's some eye candy from a very rare and very hunted down book from around WWII read to me by my mother and her by her mother before created on my laptop during the intermission.

I can't stand sitting still. Gotta work on something no matter how simple. :)
