Now that I've seen version 3.0 previews, I bought the 2.5 combo pack last night. Nice work Reallusion! Now you just need a motion capture suit for sale under five grand.Secrets to success: Give till it hurts. Add in all the features and textures and props you can and get your users making great videos. Then the world will come running with dollars in hand. Be cheap and nickel and dime your customers, you'll keep customers away.Main reason I bought, the ability to morph characters with Zbrush normal maps. Now I'm hoping I'll be able to paint textures in Zbrush as well.Waiting for the 8th .... Looked like Darth Malak on the login screen (since I hadn't used this forum in a long time). Long time user (and lurker). I did a search but probably fudged it. Questions:1. Multi-CPU aware, and uses it? I've updated my rig for other modelers and render engines (all non-realtime). Be nice if I got a little mileage out of my quad.2. Probably a 32 bit app, but I'm hoping behaves well in a 64 bit Vista env?3. 3dxchange. With the new camera and lighting system (thank you! reallusion) I can start using the prog again, but I want to bring in custom objects. Works great with 2.5. Will it with 3.0?Looks like a great upgrade to one of my favorite programs and one very much anticipated. The money has almost left the pocket any number of times this past year - but I knew at some point you'd release a new version. Just didn't know if it would catch my interest. It does.dh

RE: iClone3 What's New (Detail Features)

looks great, just like everyone else counting down the hours, oh yes finally just hours great job reallusion.

RE: iClone3 What's New (Detail Features)

Excellent job of putting this video together. I'd love to save a step and wish there were a plugin for poser to take a snap shot of front and back and bring into iclone3.

RE: iClone3 What's New (Detail Features)

One more quick question...Are there any new features (such as character interaction, body part adjustment, look at) that will NOT work with G2 characters?

RE: iClone3 What's New (Detail Features)

Somebody else wants proper babies! But the one singular element that lifts iClone into brilliance to me is the Motion editing being done inside the preview window so that we can coordinate everything in a single engineering session instead of stepped trials.I was realy blown away when you made it possible for Character to grab Character, something I spoke about at length with John Martin as a wish of my own all those evenings ago in London..... My main excitement now is the potential of more easily gained "output" and to me that's commercial interest. The motion editing now in preview in situ. Wow, I dont care if it takes another 6 months, that element saves me that duration in trials with the current system.Exceptionally impressive. My Q? re: editing bodyparts etc? Customising mix n match etc. Does this mean we can now make proper babies???

RE: iClone3 What's New (Detail Features)
eliza.skywalker (7/22/2008)
What about the hair? Create actors with wrinkles or better body definition and muscle tone."Does this mean you will provide us with a way to export characters in obj format for as to put in zbrush? because this will be a great help also for texture painting for clothing and accessories.thanks for the input,stuckon3d

RE: iClone3 What's New (Detail Features)

What about the hair?
