Neil - i beg to differ - your work goes beyond just shape and transparency -
the texturing is top notch - the leather texture -
i've been trying to get that look but with limited success.

Well, there's not so much texture, more just shape, cut and transparentising really...
But This is MUCH better. (Above)
I think Reallusion lends itself far more appealingly to the Imaginative "What might be's" as opposed to the what are's!!!
I'll get bitten for that!

I think your Forte is Period dress without a doubt.

Hey, make a Retro styled Character like mine and I can make an inclusion in the Siouxie Sioux Digital Video Comic about to be launched......
Could be good grounds for yet another Double World First!

Further Evolution of Siouxie Sioux

In this draaaaawn out hunt for icons of a 1960's Marvel Comic Heroine I've been through seven morphs of this Woman trying each time to isolate the simplicities of the masters before me.

One significant item is the inclusion of those sweet lil ear antenae. Also apparent in some of Boris Valejos early work and while he wasn't a Marvel Artist, his early works were right in this vein.

This image of his is about 30 years old and one I remember because of the preoccupation of reflected interest and his in her head anteanae.

Artistic Diagnostics:
Notice the simple "moon craters",
massive "Hunky Male Sexy Female" elements,
the usual corny "Space Ship",
but more importantly the stress on the Male being the preoccupation of the image.
His louder colours, the female almost disappears into the BG because she's the same pastels as the surrounds.
This is confirmed by realising that Boris is this centuries most celebrated Human Form artist and the male here shows the loudest of the two physiques.

Also see how he is the same colour as the BG and pulls it forwards while she is the shade of the BG and falls back into it impressionally.
We're left in no doubt that he landed in the space ship and she is the inhabitant. Nice landscapes!!!
AlLso their clothes are both very downtoned. But his skin colour is the loudest element of the entire scene.
Obviously.

So when designing my character I looked at all this. Powerful but downtones clothing. Loud skin. Sexy tan but hard expression. (As hard as I can make it anyway!)

By exposing as much of her sexy li'l Belly as possible I can escape not displaying copious amounts of her boobs which, while they always were "largely", shall we say, apparent in early Marvel Comics, large never gave way to exposed.
So Siouxie's aren't either.

I cannot beat Reallusion's half Leather Trousers so only a few tweaks and pinches there and blackening, but for me in my Humble attempt to credit the Legends who walked before me, this is my Character, now, after very much consideration, forethought, research and clone cloth editing.

During your character design processes you need to ask yourself, "What is the feel I'm trying to deliver?" and "How can I brand it so that it subliminally promotes its origin?"

A nice collection. I especially like the WWII themes. That's wholly universal. How many people will use those???
What about... what were those medics called with the arm bands on who scampered about kind of stitching people together again. There may have been 200 soldiers in a trench but only about 1 of them!!!???

Anyway, here's a project (another) I'm working on this end and in the process trying to make the images as "imaged" and high a quality as possible.

A starter taste of a new concept I thought I'd try my hand at between renders of a complete "B i t c h Cyborg".
It will smack of a 1960's Marvel Character when I'm done but she's not built fully yet.

I just thought it might be nice to do a single one off of an "animated" digital comic where each picture, if clicked, plays like a movie and stops back to the speech balloon again. So far looks beautiful. Now I need this B i t c h finished.

Yip wernervolkman it is better to take your time and get quality but this Clonecloth really helps. I know I have said it on many of my posts but people need to get this. I see RL are now selling them separate which is good.

To continue with the historical\mythical theme here is one that depicts Medusa. This was created using Jane Clone Whole Gown Set.

The snakes on the head are animated as accessories.

Do you have your own online Boutique or large format graphic outputs. Your work previously was always pretty much exceptional.

I'm impressed with your historical designs and some I recall seeing some time back had a French flavour reminiscent of historical Europe. If you've got a dozen high resolution in-situ or "conceptions exag??s" utilizing extremities of clone cloth design I wouldn't at all mind putting them into their own Category in the G2 Gallery which has now been upgraded to about 12 gigs for stills and associated output. Posters, Film Poster, Cartoons, Comics and etc and is primarily going to be a busy arena for Deaf artists who, it seems, are starting to notice the stills facility of iClone is as impressive as its animation audio driven elements.

Spiders in the closet.
It also has a section now for meta tagging each entry properly as spider food which is why I asked as the scripts took a while to install and altavista, excite, hotbot to name a few of the giants, now call in regularly and hunt down its content.

But the more exceptional the design the better, it leaves scope for the ordinaire elsewhere. We don't do ordinary.

This is the sister site of www.coolcreators.org which are specialising in textures for G2 Characters. Most things FREE here will fit into Versions 1 and 2. As well as G1 characters there is also masses of free content such as 3D scenes, Props and accessories. However if you want G2 character textures of a high quality which is quality controlled it will be best visit www.coolcreators.org
