Spot on Lionheart.
We too have around about 180 pc here at my works but if I need to take my laptop home to work I am entiled to do so as long as the same licence is not running on two comps at the same time. Like Lionheart said this is also true of Microsoft software too!!

My understanding of the legal jargon is that you can install it on two different machines, but cannot use both machines at the same time. We have a similar license at work with Microsoft office - I have it on my machine in the office, but can also install that license on my laptop so I can work at home as it is unlikely that I will want to use word on my Laptop and work PC simultaeneosly.

So - I think you can use it on the laptop for your holiday and your PC at home, providing you are not USING them at the same time.

so i can only have it running on one pc at a time
i am sorry to say but that BITES - - when i travel, i lose the use of something in paid for - would make more sense if i could register my pcs and so you know i am using what i already paid for

Hi, The EULA states the following on this subject:

F. You may only use the Program on a single computer and may be freely moved from one computer to another so long as no possibility exists of the Program being used at more than one computer simultaneously. The Company is pleased to offer site licenses for multiple simultaneous users. Please contact the Company at the address below for details.

YES you have 5 licences, but when it all goes wrong and you did'nt manage to save the hard drive or uninstall on-line, then you lose a life.

Hi UKL,

If you do reach your installation limit then you will need to contact support to reset the counter.

At the rate you mention though, you will have 4-5 years barring any other problems, and we will probably be at iClone v5.0 by then.

Hi - I noticed that when you purchase I-Clone, you get 5 installations, and I believe I read on the forum somewhere that uninstalling credits these back to you?

My HD has just died (thank god for backing up!) so unless I can work a miracle I won't be able to uninstall. This isn't a problem - yet - as I have four re-installations left, but just wondered what would happen if I keep having this problem.

For some reason, I seem to go through a HD every 12 - 15 months!
