hi heather usually the out of movie maker (wmv) is not good for youtue - the quality suffers in thier conversion - output in avi or if you can get a flash encoder, it outputs really top notch quality at small file sizes and very youtube friendly. I use turbine video encoder for this

You are kind.Now would you believe I've actually made a little video with your help. Now how could I let you good people see it so you can honestly critisize it - I would love to hear everybody's comments good or bad. Haven't done anything with the timeline - haven't found out how that works yet (of course) But wonder if I can get this put somewhere so you could see it. Or have I to do something first????:unsure:

You can find the Record button in Animation - Facial Animation - Modify. :)

I'm doing pretty good now, but want to be able to talk (add my voice) for some reason cannot find the record buttton found it once then lost it. Please tell me how to find it!!!:)

Yes I am and I'm sure I will be able to do much more now. I will print out the keyboard shortcuts. I'm sure there is so much more I can do - well I know there is as I've seen some of the members videos. Have found out that I will be able to use these in with my video program too. Getting there !!!:satisfied:

Before you add another character are you pressing Ctrl and F7 keys together first?

Yes that was a great help - but tell me this pleas. Each time I try to add another character, my first one disappears, and O just have my added character. Oh dear I am in such a muddle with this. Can you help me with it?

Hi,

When iClone launches it starts with the default project. You can choose your own project to launch with by setting up the scene as you wish and then going to Project - Modify and selecting the Set Default. From then on your own project will load when you start iClone.

When you add a prop or another character to the scene they always appear centered in the scene. You then go to the relevant Modify panel and under Adjust change the positioning to wherever you want in the scene.

I hope this answers your questions. If you are still unclear on some things don't hesitate to ask again. :)

Figures in iclone

When I open iclone I always have a avatar looking at me. Can I not open and then choose my avatar and my backing screen? Also if I put another figure in (a prop) it seems to stand on top of the figure I have there. I guess this may sound pretty stupid, but have only started with iclone 2 and it is a little confusing for me. Would be glad of help.:)
