By way of hoping to help others I created a tutorial video specifically using the Natural Base. Hope this helps, the address is below. I tried to make it a link but it didn't want to play nice so you'll have to copy and paste:http://3dhumor.com/videos/ApplyingCloneSkinTutorial.html

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

Hello Alley,Thanks for your idiot-proof explanation! It's so easy to do that I feel stupid now. I still have to work out how to get rid of the bust better, but I guess that's really only a matter of outfits as duchess110 showed in her/his pictures. You helped me a lot. Thanks again,Matthias

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

Hi there:Dress Jane in whatever outfit you want the child to wear.Press the Upper Body Button, and then click add on the right hand menu at the bottom. This will save your upper in the Custom Upper folder.Press the Lower Body Button, and then press add on the right hand menu at the bottom. This will save the Lower inthe Custom Lower folder. You now have the upper outfit and the lower outfit saved.Open the child from the natural human base characters.Go to Upperbody and click on the upper you saved from Jane. This is applied to Sarah.Go to Lowerbody and click on the lower you saved from Jane. This is then applied to Sarah. If it is a lowcut Jane outfit or something that accentuates the bust, it doesn't work so well. But other more modest cuts work just fine. All the same applies to the boy character starting with Jack and saving the upper and lowers and then opening the boy natural human base character and doing the same thing.Hopefully this makes sense. :)

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

Hello Fellow iCloners,I'm also impressed by what you can do. My only question is how did you do it? How do you apply clothes to the Natural Human Base?Sorry for this ignorant question but I highly appreciate your help!Matthias

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

I tried this too. As Duchess images show, some outfits work fine, however others do not. You just have to experiment I guess.:D

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

That's good ! The way you describe the natural human base set on your website also misled me to think that you could dress the bodies in the same easy way you can modiy Jack and Jane with CloneCloth. I also paid 100 bucks only to find out that this is not possible. Could you at least offer one set of clothes for the characters? I bought the pack to also animate my little daughter (no boobs yet). Naked is not great for this purpose.

Thanks,

Matthias
Hi Matthius,

Thanks for giving us your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you found the documentation for the Natural Human Base Pack a little misleading.

While the figures themselves come without clothing, it is possible to interchange CloneCloth clothing from Jane and Jack with these figures and the clothing will scale to match the body shape. It may not be quite as good as having custom CloneCloth for each figure, but good results can be had this way. See the image below for an example.

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

http://forum.reallusion.com/Topic1860-14-1.aspx#bm3991	I hope Reallusion planned to dress these very nice designed G2 characters very soon, if not they are likely to take cold :D

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

Hello iClone team,I agree with FINANCIALCYBERNETICS. Although not a perfect solution, the chest of the upper outfits should flatten to look fairly realistic with the Natural Human Sarah character.

RE: HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

I managed to use the "Sarah Nude Base" to do a character " Anne Frank" I made the textures for Jane clone whole dress. If you don't have this perhaps you could use Jane casual default. I then saved the upper in my custom folder. After this I brought in Sarah Nude Base applied the saved upper to this Natural Human base and it worked a treat. No young girl with the extended chest.

Hope this helps

Regards

Popeye

HOW TO DRESS G2 NATURAL HUMAN BASE CHARACTERS?

Purchased the g2 natural human base set figuring I would get substantial flexability in matching a real person's face photos to the best g2 figure.

I was under the impression after reading the documentation prior to purchase that I could select clothing to put on these figures via the double texturing feature.

What I understood is that the first texture is the skin and the second texture would be anything overlaid and conformed to the skin like clonecloth. So far, I found it dificult to create any nice clothed natural looking characters using this base.

For example, I tried to create a character to match my niece, a six year old. I used the junior figure base, overlaid Jane clone casual lower body cloths to put some pants on her and used Jack clone casual upper body cloths to dress her upper body to reduce the breast feature of a an adult female. The result still looked like a kid with a well developed chest without breasts but also unlike that of a female child.

So I have this $100 character data set taking up space on my drive without being able to do anything with it except maybe porno. (not into that!!)

Have any solutions! If not, can you Guys/woman send a email/note/blog or whatever to Reallusion that they have a great product with this set but where is the other half!
