Appreciated that you included it.

Question?
Will this ability be available as a control system within iClone v3???

RE: What is BSM file?

Nice new tool and very easy to use. However, we found it can be very helpful to re-shape the behavior of a character, eg. make it looked more macho, croocked, relax, or tense, etc. simply by adding subtle joint rotation offsets. Thus, we determined to disclose this trick here.

Here is one example

Ape

Proud

Sad

You can download the above BSM files (In the post attachment) and compare those characters behavior by applying different motions.

Download the sample bsm files for each characters
- load them in the same character folder, and match your character vns file to the bsm name

Handling Embedded BSM Data
If you create a new custom character orginally comes with the bsm description, the BSM data will be embedded in the newly created charater. The same rule can also be applied to project files which contain characters with BSM description.

After BSM data get embedded into character or iclone project, you can not find the corresponding bsm files in the target folder.

Here is how you can retreive the BSM data once you want to adjust further:
a. First select the target character by double clicking the target character in the 3D view window.
b. Now, press Ctrl-B, you will see a file saving dialog, then you can save it as a bsm file that you can edit by any normal text editor.
c. If you have any change in the bsm script, simply reload the character then the new behavior will be updated.
