I paid for this and when I download it into iclone, I get an error message, "Fail to load, this is not a valid Avatar file." The G3 CloneCloth Essential Man Vol. works just fine.

I write to support, they send me a link that gives the same error message when loaded into iclone.

I'm using the lastest iclone with the 3.2c Patch.

The one thing that bothers me about the G3 Clone Cloth for the females is the way the clothing conforms to the breasts. It is like the character has vacuum pumps surgically implanted. Next time you are out, (or if you are female look in the mirror) look at women's shirts/tops (Discretely of course). Does the cloth actually conform to the breasts in the cleavage or does it tend to go straight across? The area may sink a little, depending on what is worn under the shirt, and the weight of any necklace on top of the shirt, but it certainly is not going to follow the contours the way the Clone Cloth does. In most 3D software you can simply adjust the mesh, unfortunately iClone does not allow that, so the correction would have to be made to the content itself. (Please.)

The interesting bit here is that you can get both G3 packs for $160US even now. So the coupon, while important for early purchasers of the G3 male, didn't really buy us any additional discount.

Just nice at this point to have some new clothes for Violet. Not sure I like the resculpt yet, but I'm sure she'll grow on me.

Thanks for clarifying.
This pack will have a similar work flow to the G2 Clone Cloth.

Also, will the female templates have the improved UV layout like the new G3 male templates?
(i.e. separate sleeve sections so there will be only one seam running down the inside of the arms)

The new body shape is part of the CloneCloth template. So anytime you use a G3 avatar wearing CloneCloth it will be the new body shape. You can place a head from any other figure on the new CloneCloth bodies.

Do you have any ideas about how the petticoat can be adapted to a hoop skirt?

Maybe a half-ball primitive accessory attached to the petticoat? Do you think that would work?

If any of you fashionistas are thinking of building something nice . . . I could use hoop skirts for my Victorian project. (This would also complement the amazing new Streampunk menswear.)

(PS I know there is an Elizbethan hoop skirt out there now)
