I can only assume you're referring to the washer water. I have seen it spray different ways, so yes it could be used comically. I'm pretty sure there is a water particle stream that could be added from the default water particles. If there isn't I can make one (Maybe ;))

I have since added to the above example, a FAUX/Fake VW engine image under the rear engine compartment, and an animated rainwater appearance on the glass itself, without using scene particles. So it's pretty much finished as of two days ago. :)

Interested in the additional motions you have done. I could suggest one more:
Some cars have bad mechanism for the wipers water, making it drop at the car's back. Dunno if you follow me...

Could be used for some funny scenes...

There are misplaces of iCar files with iCar body files. RL fixed the problem already. Have you received notice from RL CS team? Hope you have resolved the problem. Looking forward to see your new work with iCar.

"ICar" costs 500 Points each.
"Icar body " costs 300 points each.
I spend 2500 points to order 5 Icars in backstage and the inventory Thumbnail part appear right Icar Pictures.But when I download them .They become "Icar body" in my Props Files.
So I believes that they are some mistakes between Icar and Icar body download setting .Please check for me soon.I need Icar to produce some films.Thanks a lot!!!

Just a thought Johnny. Have you checked in the scene manager that the wheels have not switched themselves off somehow?

Haven't quite finished working on it yet, but it's possible I'll sell the model.

In regards to the iCars, it was mentioned earlier by Peter Edwards [quote]"the Mechanic Tool Kit is available to all Pro and Standard users free of charge."[/quote], so if I decide to sell it or give it away, the model would be complete with the all animations shown, plus a few extras I'm applying now to make it more realistic.

Got a rainy day scene coming up do you? I'm working on a special effect to go with the wipers, just not sure when it will be done...or even if it will be, but we'll see. ;)

I've always got a few irons in the fire...let's see what sets things on fire. :)

That looks really good Cricky. I don't have the i-cars but have been thinking about it. Do you need to have the i-cars in order to use this beetle (I assume you will be selling it?)

To keep this in a Single Subject, here is a Sample I adapted the Tool Kit to. Definitely a labor to accomplish, but only in time spent getting it ready; the kit is straight forward.

Notice the lights, the wipers, steering wheel. All controlled in the iCAR on the Time line.

If you have a separate component such as a hatchback door, sunroof, hood or deck that you want to open, the door controls need to be aligned with pivot edge and they can be used with separate controls already coded. Attach the door to the control, set the opacity of the control to zero, then merge the door and control with the control selected. Rename it to hatchback, hood, sunroof, etc...and then you only need to right-click to control when you want to open or close it.

If you find your registered programs in your account, just click the Bonus & Upgrade link for iClone3 Pro or Standard. There you should see the Mechanic Toolkit in the Bonus Content area. (see image below).

I like the idea surrounding the the pack. I think it is brilliant, however I didnt see anything in the documentation regarding hatchbacks or how non standard doors open. Any ideas there anyone?

No the other iClone users won't need to have purchased the iCar Body Shop pack because the Mechanic Tool Kit is available to all Pro and Standard users free of charge. You can login to your account and download it from the Bonus & Upgrade area.

quick question:
Lets say that I build a car using the "Mechanic tool kit" but the geometry for all the car parts are 100% original. If I want to sell that car will people still have to buy the Icar bodyshop? or can they just buy the car I made? The reason I'm asking is because the price of the vehicle I sell would be X amount + 60 dollars for the Icarshop, and I dont think people would want to spend that much money for a single car.
