But I have said this many times, I wouldn't be doing this if time was an issue. I spent9 months making one of my first movies back in 2006 with a piece of software called "The Movies".
You only get out what you put in and what you have done here shows the possibilities that doing this brings.
Again I thank you for leading the way :D
P.S. And to me there is no greater flattery than one artist telling another that you inspire them. And for that I thank you my friend with a very humble heart.
The reason why I posted that I had to use different softwares to get to the final look for the content inside Iclone, was just to make people aware so they dont get frustrated if they try to do something like this just by using Iclone. That is all, It was not meant for you specifically. I just quoted you because of your cool comment about leading the way. That really touched me. :Wow: I guess I should have added that on the post as well. Doh! :D :hehe:

your friendly Icloneer,

Stuckon3d

RE: Stuckon3d's street
stuckon3d (3/5/2009)Thank you guys and gals, I just want to say that while the final models are in Iclone and rendered in Iclone, to get to that look is a combination of many softwares. You cant get that look by using Iclone alone, a lot of R&D went into getting this look. Not to mention many many hours of texture painting in PS CS4. I don't want to mislead anyone. What you see is what you will get, plus a lot more :D ,however... to create something like this from scratch, it is not an easy path, but that is why you have artists like me, so you don't have to go through the pains and just enjoy the content and get to the movie making, right?

Your friendly Icloneer,
Stuckon3d
Hey Stuckon3d, I was never under any illusion about the amount of hard work and time needed to produce something as fine as this. That whole side of the street (as shown on the black and white image that has the sketchup model has less polygons than a single g2 character. I can move in that environment at 65 frames per second with pixel shader on. The three building that you see on the color rendered images have a total of 7500 polygons, that's it. I will post a movie soon so that you can see things from every angle. Stay tuned, what you see here is only the begining.

your friendly icloneer,

Stuckon3d

RE: Stuckon3d's street
Wow, good stuff!

RE: Stuckon3d's street

These look good bur are they just background images, images on a flat plane or are they going to be 3D?

RE: Stuckon3d's street

Very nice texturing.
