Also try a smaller output size and higher frame rate if you are using a low frame rate. You should be able to see if there is any difference with the blinking and the different formats settings. It will help narrow things down.

RE: Facial Movement ... need help

Hi, I began working with CT5Pro today and using puppeteering. All functions well, my only problem is the eye blinking.I click for every blinking, but and can see a short blinking. But when I replay the movie, the blinking endures too long, means the eyes are closed to long. Its not a short blinking. Has anybody a hint, what I am doing wrong?

RE: Facial Movement ... need help

I am sorry to say that I have been using CrazyTalk5 ever sense it was first released WITHOUT viewing the tortorials first. In Crazytalk 5 you can add your facial animation by using a few different methods.

As you have already found out, adding an Emotive will give you facial movement so that is one way. Even better would be to create your own facial animations by using Puppeteering. This will give you the most realistic animation once you learn how to use it.

You can also, if you wish use one of the supplied Motion Clips and just drag that onto the timeline (adjusting it for length). You can then adjust the Intensity Slider to make the facial animation as subtle as you want.

Take a look at the Puppeteering tutorial below for more information on this feature.

[flashvideo]http://www.youtube.com/v/VVPYOn7LZ6A[/flashvideo]
Facial Movement ... need help

Good Day ...

I hope all is well.

1. I have CT 5

2. For my model I use:

Human Profile

Profile Strength = 0.4

Motion Strength = 58%

Standby Motion is checked and = General

3. When I play my model w/my script, I get great lip movement but no other movement, like blinking eyes, smiles, nodding, etc.

4. If I play my model w/Elvis or Gump, I get total facial movement.

5. If I play my model with emotives, other than neutral, I also get total facial movement

6. My question ... how can I get more realistic facial movement, e.g., blinking eyes, smile, head movement, etc., with my model using my script ???

Thank you for your time & consideration.

Jim

************************
