Start by dragging all the points to one side as evenly as possible, test, mask whatever areas shouldn't move and note what areas should move but aren't, re-drag the points, test again, mask again, drag again, and so on. It isn't perfect but it works for now. Good luck!

RE: face profiles in crazy talk 4
jerie (10/26/2009)
You need to use the full wireframe view and drag all the points to one side and keep previewing and rearranging and masking.
Hi Jerie,

Can you tell me a little more about your approach for a profile? I understand what the full
wireframe view is, but by draggin all the points to one side, do you mean we are essentially
folding the frame model in half? So that both of the "ear" points are on one side?

I could definitely see how masking the empty space would help. I assume that is what you mean.

Thanks for the encouragement.
RE: face profiles in crazy talk 4

I managed to get it to work reasonably well in 4, just a lot of trial and error. You need to use the full wireframe view and drag all the points to one side and keep previewing and rearranging and masking. Just keep playing with it, at least till you are able to upgrade. I just can't justify the extra expense to upgrade right now.

RE: face profiles in crazy talk 4
Peter Edwards (9/13/2009)
If you are trying to animate a full side onview then this is not really possible with Crazytalk 4.6 I'm afraid. I could really use some help with that... I know version 6 has everything I need and want and can't live without but for now I have to stick with 4.6 - my boss just cut my work hours, so while I have more time to play with Crazy Talk, I got less money to spend on upgrades.... :crying:
