I'll call my friend and give him this advice. I myself downloaded the trial version 6.1 and quickly made a WMV with it. I couldn't find any of the problems as described in my first post, so I think upgrading should do the trick.

If it doesn't work, I'll be back (thanks Arnold, for these perfect words for this occasion...):D

T. Does the problem still exist?

You can get the update vis LiveUpdate from the Start Menu (if it doesn't automatically startup) of from your account after login.

Give this a try and see if it improves things.

A couple of things to check if you have updated. Make sure the location for temporary files (found under preferences) has plenty of defragmented free space. Also try outputting at lower resolutions and size to see if it makes a difference. This will make it easier to identify the problem. We created a model, complete with eyes, mouth and idle time settings, imported some audio in the script, used motion clips etc. No problem so far. When playing back in CT6 all is well. But after exporting the clip to WMV 640x480, all motion clip-movements are OK, but all idle movements are very quick, nervous-like. Like blinking 3 times a second, shaking head like the model suffers from ADHD etc. As if idle-time motions are played back at high speed. This makes me nervous watching it ;).

Also, the transitions between idle time and motion clip movements seem very abrupt. Once again, this was not the case when playing it back in CT6.

Of course I tried changing the idle movement-head motion strength, but this again only affects the playback in CT6 (which is perfect), not in the exported file.

Did I miss a setting? Any ideas?

Any help is appreciated.

T.
