I can tell you that your request will be noted and if any news of this feature being implemented becomes known I will certainly tell you.

RE: Lip Synch Q

Come on peter, let it slip if you want.

I respectfully request an answer.

Will this be added in a patch ?

I fully understand the developer has not used the windows environment, who would like to pay that kind of royalty. But that aside most get round that be allowing an import/export facility.

Please please please, add it.

RE: Lip Synch Q

Then as an improvement why not allow an export/import facility for individual parts of the piece ?

This is a must I would say. The restriction of not being able to cut and paste across projects is highly restrictive for anyone who wants to use this for more than a birthday card.

The same goes for iclone.

RE: Lip Synch Q

Hi Blackace,

Firstly what a fantastic video you have made with Crazytalk. I 'am greatly impressed. Well done.

It certainly would be helpful to copy and paste between projects but sadly this doesn't seem possible at present. As you have seen neither Crazytalk or iClone use a standard windows interface (File, Edit menu bar etc) so Copy and Paste doesn't carry over to another project as it would between standard windows programs.

Sadly I can't offer an answer to your problem, but thanks for sharing your views.

RE: Lip Synch Q

Thanks peter for eventually responding to this.

I know I can cut and paste in a project, but why cant I cut and paste between projects, it really is a feature that should be included.

I am currently working on a music video for a German artist.

In this project I am saving each clip as a separate project but because the lyrics are very similar in the chorus, I would love to copy these over to the other files.

This is just a composite of clips, the finished film will be mostly CGI.

http://blackaceproduction.com/Downloads/Tests/Zindy_Video_Fullb.wmv

RE: Lip Synch Q

Hi,
Apologies for not replying sooner.

I'm not sure if you mean between different projects but you can cut and paste segments of the audio track within a single project.

Left Click on the audio track and Drag Out the area you require.

Right Click and choose Copy.

Then Right Click on the new position on the timeline and choose Paste.

A copy of the selected audio will then be placed at a new position on the timeline.

I hope this is of some help.

Pete

RE: Lip Synch Q

Not many hints and tips there then.

For the developers to simply ignore one of the basic concepts of Windows i.e. the cut and paste is absolutely amazing.

That in itself limits the usage of this otherwise fine tool.

Why cant I Ctl C and Ctl V anything across projects.

This is by far the one thing that really peeves me off.

Who do I go to to get this sorted ?

I know, why don't I E Mail the guy who actually wrote it, waste of time talking to Real Illusion or posting in this forum.

Oh I forgot, Real illusion bought him out.

Lip Synch Q

Hi.

Just purchased this after playing around with the demo.

Is there any way I can just import a section of audio instead of having to import the whole thing ?

I have several files of me talking to get the basic mouth movements but need to stitch them all together on a 4 minute track.

I could shuffle them around in sony sound forge but it would be a lot simpler to do it in CT.
