Html flash is not working

below, files are needed to run my presentation online.I have a folder name: test_Data. inside this folder i have 4 files.[b]AC_RunActiveContent.jsFlashSwf.swftest.flvtestStandby.flv[/b]Outside this folder i have 1 html file which contains flash embedded presentation.[b]test.html[/b]But problem is that i only see play button and stop button. Ican see and hear prsentation localy on my computer but not online on the webb. What is going on?i only see buttons its mean that my 2 files: test.flv, testStandby.flv are not connected (imported online shortcut) to my presentation. But why?am i missing something or what?:)

Setup.exe stopped working in Vista with Crazytalk 5.0

I am no longer to close or open Crazytalk5.0 in Vista. It also won't let me uninstall. I don't want to try uninstall from command prompt and DOS. Has anyone else had this problem?

hope someone can help me, because Reallusion support for my problem

is either being ignored or they can't help me.

I purchased crazy talk 5, and it installed okay.

My problem occurs every time I try to open any image file for use in the software.

Once I click on the file to open it, Crazy Talk crashes, and I get an error message

telling me that CTMAIN exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. This happens

with any type image file on my computer, with the exception of the software characters.

I've unintalled and reinstalled the software many times, and still have the same problem.

Can someone on this forum help me out.

I recently installed ct5 after having lots of fun with messenger 4 only to find that neither will play scripts now. I found the cts files in the program folders and tried firing them up directly. I even found an mht file that I had made in messenger (when it was working) and this will not play either. Does anyone know of any software conflicts that could possibly be preventing the scripts playing. I have tried disabling my antivirus and spyware software but this has not made any difference. OS is windows XPthanksSteve

I have a lot of trouble opening crazytalk - i have used it several times for a few hours but last night it stopped and numerous attemps to re - open have failed - restarts - re-installs - more ram - system error repair have all failed- when i try to open it i keep getting a message that Crazy Talk 5 Main Program has stopped and windows is trying to find a solution - this is on a 3.3 E-Machine wqith Vista

Hello,I'm a newbe to crazy talk. After installing the demoversion and run the demo projekt, I can only see lips moving but can hear no sound or speech. my system is windows vista home premium. In the program itself I can find no configuration for sound output.I tried to install as administrator, but it's the same result. So, as a matter of course i tend to reinstall vista every 8 weeks to keep my machine working great - a hassel i know but not so bad, anyway this is the second time i've gone to install CT4 and then i get this message i have used 3 of 5 installs!Tripe, i know this is number two and anyway, what the hell happens when i have used all 5? Do i get to purchase CT4 again or is this a ploy to make me upgrade to CT5? I don't have to buy a new copy of Windows or any other software i can think of if i install ut more than 5 times :(Any info here would be great, thanks

G'dayI installed the trial version of Crazy Talk so I could see what it does. Everythin OK so far.It wont launch and when I try to uninstall it says the programme is running. Someone is lying!Task Manager says it IS NOT running but Vista will not let me uninstall.I have an Acer 4520G with Athlon dual core 1.8GHz, 2G RAM, GeForce 8400M graphics.I would really like to try this with a view to getting the full version.Any advice?Tabeeg

Crashing in bootcamp after firmware update

We've had CrazyTalk and iClone for a few years now, but only recently started purchasing Apple Macs which are being used with bootcamp for dual boot between OSX Leopard and Win XP.

All of the computers have been loaded with a standard image, but if the firmware of the Mac is different to the machine it was originally installed on or if you upgrade the firmware, CrazyTalk and iClone stop working.

If you try to start either program, they flash up on the screen then close immediately and the only way to fix it so far is to reinstall both programs.

Is there any way to stop this happening or fix it without having to reinstall everything?

Any help would be much appreciated.

So I bought a new high end machine. Hoooray for me! Until I tried to install CT 4.5 on it. First, I've lost the install disk - no sweat, I can go to the website and download. Great. Oops, the SN was in that box - NO, I can get that, too, from the website. Maybe I've been too hard on the Reallusion website lately .. the website is working out well for me, after all.

And then ... and then,

After downloading the setup software and getting the SN in email, the installation software proceeds to tell me that my SN has been used on 5 successful installs and has expired and I should contact Reallusion. GEEEZUZ! WHAT????? This is only my third new machine since buying Crazy Talk (the first time in 2002, I think) many years ago. This can't be right.

Oh no! Contact Reallusion? There's no contact address in the installation message. That means the sales email address is all I have. I'm supposed to believe that that sales email address that's never replied to any email I've sent before will reply this time?

So now what? Well, I'll start here on the forums. But I have a very bad feeling about this.

My cynical nature begins to whisper about the co-incidence of a CT4.x SN that doesn't work any longer and the release of CT5. You know, the CT that's incompatible with IClone? The CT I refuse to upgrade to 'til it can help ME instead of Reallusion.

And I begin to wonder if this isn't payback for being upset about being asked to PAY $60 for the privilege of beta testing CT 5 and saying so publicly.

Text Bubble purchased with Crazy Talk 5

I have downloaded Crazy Talk 5 PRo and also got Text Bubble at the same time. I have opened and installed both. Text Bubble says (after installation) it should be there within Crazy Talk 5 Pro when I open it but I can't find any evidence of it. Crazy Talk 5 Pro is working fine. How do I find and use Text Bubble?
Help please.

Animation freezing in video editor?

Okay so I save a crazytalk made animation as a video file and it looks great.

Then I add that video in Vegas video editor and the animation doesn't animate, the programs moving along fine and the audio is there but I get about two frames of movement.

Anyone hit anything like this?

IE7 error upon attempting to close Browser

While performing initial tests for using crazytalk4 on web pages, the presentation works fine, but the following error always occurs after attempting to close the web page.

IEXPLORER.EXE = Application Error

The instruction at "0x6c1b5115" referenced memory at "0x000000004". The memory could not be "read".

Any idea if version 5 will fix this?

Using ocx control in C# projetc

I am trying to use the CT ocx control in a Visual Studio C# project. The control on the form ok, and I can assign a model and set life mode, but it will not play a script no matter what I try. I know the script file is ok because I can use it in CT Studio.

I have tried assigning the script file pathname to the ScriptName property in code and in the designer, and set ScriptReady = true. The ScriptCached event fires but the PlayEvent never fires. It makes no difference if I set it to auto play or use the Play menu.

Is there any documentation on using the control in this way?

'Invalid Serial Number'

Hi CrazyTalk users out there,

I recently bought a Genius web-cam, come bundle with it were the CT Cam Suite & CT Avatar Creator.

Tried installing the software and I could not proceed with both the installations when it install program asked for a 'serial number'. Checking on the install CD and the box I found at least 5 sets of numbers but any one of them if I used as a serial number gives me an error message a pop-up window with...

'Invalid serial number. Please try again.

Please note that there are no letters "I" or "O" of english alphabet in serial number'

and when I press 'OK' I'm able to try with another serial number but as mentioned, tried it with about 5 possible options and all gave the same message.

What am I doing wrongly? Where can I find the serial number? What format should it be?

I had to redownload Crazytalk from DAZ and re-install it.
It wouldn't work the 1st time w/o freezing up.

Now it works, but my account for installs shows it as 2of5, I mean what the heck is going on?

I NEVER got an opportunity to use it and now can only update/re-install 3 more times.

I need to know if this is how it's going to be.

Because I might be using DAZ's 30 day refund if REALLUSION thinks I'm going to re-buy something I'VE ALREADY PAID FOR

after another 3 installs, because everytime MICROSTIFF screws up bad, I have to re-install software!

What about bad hard drives?

THIS IS FRAKKIN BS, part time ownership?

I doubt I'd ever risk "RENTING" i-clone!

Installing CrazyTalk 4 - won't install

G'day I have downloaded crazytalk 4 (69meg) and when I click on the install.exe file it begins the installation
and when it gets to this points come sup with an error:

CT45_ENU_Data_common_sharedcustom
D:\Reallusion\sharedcustom
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax...

And it will not install, any suggestions.
I'm running an Acer Laptop with Vista OS.

Crazytalk 4.6 AutoPlay not working

I've made a couple of web projects using CrazyTalk 4.6. When I go to the websites, I have to click on the play arrow to start play. I viewed the source and AutoPlay's Value is set to 1. I am using IE 7. Waiting motion is working.

15 day trial expiration

We installed Crazy talk, but did not register it within the 15 day trial period. Now we can't activate it. We tried to uninstall and reinstall, but it remebers previous installation and continues to give this error. How do we activate the product?

Okay... I'm having some trouble with getting the mouth right and I want to know what you guys would think, if that's okay. I have my mouth frame looking like this:

I think that there is something other than my wire frames that are messing this stuff up. I moved the mouth around a lot to some absurd places and it always seems like that triangle in the corner of the mouth is stuck... Anyone know what is going on?

Hellllp! I'm having a terrible time getting Crazy Talk Media Studio Editor 4.5 to load on my system.

I've already sent numerous emails to Reallusion support requesting assistance but as yet I've had no response.

The software gets halfway loaded then it stops and an error msg saying

Feature: Data
Component: CT45_ENU_DATA_COMMON_CUSTOM
File: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\ReallusionError: Access is Denied
pops up and then the software upload completely shuts down.

Any insight you fellow Crazy Talk users might provide would be greatly appreciated as I paid good money for this software program and I'd like to be able to use it as soon as possible.

[Archive] Media Export problems

Only version 4.1 is exporting .wmv and avi files properly. (I have installed the WME encoder from Microsoft). In version 4.5, wmv files have no video (a pure white image with audio only), and in 4.6, I get media export failures consistently, trying to export .wmv and .avi files; no files get exported at all. So I re-installed 4.1 and export is working fine. I have tried the updates and "fixes" Only version 4.1 exports properly.

Any suggestions?

I have instaled CrazyTalk 4.5 on my Win98SE PC.

The install went fine but after starting the program when I play the default model the sound comes in first and there is a milisecond delay of lip-sync.

Its like watching a badly dubbed chop-socky movie.

I thought it was because I only had DirectX6 on my PC so I installed DirectX8 and I have the same problem.

I played it in my WinXP PC and the mouth moves with the voice but not in Win98SE. I installed it on my Dell notebook which has Win98SE too and its the same thing.

Anyway I don't think this is workable if the playback mouth motions are always is always off so...
Does Crazy Talk work with win98SE?

Running WIndows XP Professional

Have downloaded the trial version of Crazy Talk 4 on my PC at work and on 2 PC's at home and get the same problem.

It almosts completes the installation and then I get this error message........(screenshot)

At this point I checked my Program Files folder and the REALLUSION folder had been created with various folders and files and
it was also listed in START / PROGRAMS as this screen shot shows................

When I click OK from the first screenshot, everything gets un-installed again and I'm back to square one.

Now I have downloaded this 3 times already, tried 3 different systems and still no luck.

Any ideas,...........................

I installed crazytalk 4, upgraded to crazytalk 4.5 on a Windows Vista based computer. The sound input engine does not seem to work, or rather, the programme cannot find it.

Is this due to an incompatiblity issue between Windows Vista and Crazytalk? Other programmes like VOIP's have no trouble with sound under W Vista.
